IOMS - Department Of Corrective Services (Qld)

Cognisys was responsible for the design of the Integrated Offender Management System (IOMS), a case management system to manage offenders. Architected on the Microsoft .Net technology platform, IOMS was commissioned as the new core IT system for the department. IOMS provides the department with a centralised management tool, leading to enhanced information sharing, informed decision making and improved data and information management. The system has also been sold to the Northern Territory Corrective Services (NTCS).

IJIS - Department Of Justice (Qld) - {Current}

The Integrate Justice Information Strategy (IJIS) program is series of projects whose goal is to integrate the flow of data between the departments in the Criminal Justice Sector (including Police, Justice, Corrections, Communities and Child Safety). IJIS is both a development and integration program. Cognisys designed and created the information and solution architectures for the entire program of work. Since it involves a number of different departments, the architectures involved J2EE and .Net technology sets.
